Rhinos v Montreal on 4th of July Weekend

Roc-MtlMontreal Impact.com

The Rhinos get to try and get the taste of losing in the Open Cup out of their mouths against Montreal tomorrow evening at Marina Autos Stadium.

Montreal will likely be in a foul mood after falling to Vancouver on Wednesday 2-1 on a stoppage time goal by Whitecaps defender Luca Bellisomo.

Good news for Rochester is that Edy Sebrango and David Testo are amongst the injured Impact players that didn't make the trip to Rochester.

The forecast looks good, so hopefully the Rhinos can put on a show like they did last weekend when they took out Puerto Rico 3-0.

News & Notes:

- Abby Wambach will once again be on the US roster when they take on Sweden a couple of times in July.

- The parent company of the NBA's San Antonio Spurs is looking at potentially bringing an MLS team to the city.

- The Portland-Seattle US Open Cup match up was epic again this year. I can't wait until 2011 when they match up in MLS.

- The Toronto-Houston game got dirty last night.

- The Red Bulls are teasing the signing of a new DP some more. Everyone is expecting it to be Thierry Henry. But, what if it isn't?

- With Frank Simek signing with Carlisle of League One in England, I'm wondering why an MLS team didn't take a run at him? Or if one did....

- Steve Davis takes alook at Jurgen Klinsmann's takes on US Soccer moving forward.

- FanHouse looks at how US Soccer wants to change the way players are developed here.

- Nike has a great Thank You USMNT ad up.

- I don't know who is looking worse, FIFA or Nigeria's President?
