Devo's Direct Kicks - Report Card
Randi "The Rhino Killer" Patterson came off the bench last night for Crystal Palace Baltimore and gave the visitors a 1-0 win.
For the Rhinos, Max Ferdinand and Isaac Kissi made their debuts and Scott Vallow was given a bit of a wake up call as Neal Kitson was given the start in goal.
About the best thing that can be said about last night's loss is that they don't have to sit on it for 10 days as they travel to Vancouver for a Saturday night match versus the Whitecaps.
After a 1-1-1 homestand, it will be interesting to see how this team looks on Saturday. Vancouver is 2-0-2 at home in league play this season. But, Vancouver has yet to allow a visiting team to get on the scoresheet.
So, if the Rhinos can get the offense going against the Whitecaps, that should be a very good sign moving forward.
