Steven Goff of the Washington Post is reporting that Abby Wambach will be allocated to the Washington Freedom today.
WPS is going to announce at 12:30pm ET today where the US Women's National Team players will be allocated to. And Goff is saying that Abby Wambach will be allocated to the Washington Freedom.
Wambach played for the Freedom in the former WUSA and led them to the final WUSA title.
Goff is also reporting that defenders Cat Whitehill and Ali Krieger will also join Wambach on the Freedom.
Other WPS tidbits in Goff's blog are goalkeeper Hope Solo to St. Louis, midfielder Carli Lloyd to Chicago, Rachel Buehler to San Jose, and Steven expects Kristine Lilly and Angela Hucles to end up in Boston.
