The official DC United blog Behind the Badge is reporting that DC United will host the winner of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds-Rochester Rhinos 2nd Round US Open Cup match in the 3rd round.
The game is scheduled to take place at the Maryland SoccerPlex in Gaithersburg, MD on Tuesday, July 1. With DC United's June 29 match against the LA Galaxy just two days prior, they are looking into pushing the game back to July 2.
If the Rhinos were to advance past the third round, they would face either the Chicago Fire, Minnesota Thunder, or Cleveland City Stars.
