Here is a look at what the various newspapers are saying a day after Real Salt Lake owner Dave Checketts held a media conference call about the future of the team and their attempts to get a stadium built in Utah:
D&C: Kevin O's recap of the Checketts press conference
Salt Lake Tribune: Checketts vs Miller
Salt Lake Tribune: Checketts will meet with team
Salt Lake Tribune: RSL owner lambastes S.L. County leaders, Miller
Salt Lake Tribune: Developers float Utah County RSL site
Deseret Morning News: Real S.L. is wooed by Utah County
Deseret Morning News: Checketts, Miller feud still boils
It looks like the scare tactic might be working with Utah County stepping up and offering a new potential home.
The US Women's National Team to make their PAETEC Park debut on Wednesday, September 13th
D&C: Wambach, U.S. women's team will play Mexico here Sept. 13
Rhinos season ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets starting at 10am on Monday. Tickets go on sale for the general public at 10am July 25th.
Hopefully this game sells out as quickly as the game in 2004 at Frontier Field.
2006 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup Quarterfinal match ups announced
If the Rhinos should survive their August 2nd match up with the New England Revolution, they would then host either the Chicago Fire or the Kansas City Wizards on August 23rd at PAETEC Park.
So that is just another reason to pack the joint out in a few weeks and urge the boys on in another run at the Open Cup title.
Rhinos loan Chad Severs to the Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL 2nd Division
The release doesn't say whether it is a season long loan or not. That might be up in the air as the Rhinos talk with the USL about whether a loan such as this takes Severs off the 26 man roster and opens up a spot for the Rhinos to acquire the attacking midfielder that they have been looking for since Bolanos and Juninho have been hurt.
